Unsigned Weiss 1950s Black Clamper Bracelet
This knock-out Weiss bracelet has such style!! Classic black goes with everything! Dress it up, dress it down: you really just can't go wrong with this one! Made in the 1950s it can be safely attributed to the highly sought after Weiss company. These were rarely signed but this example exhibits all the tell-tale characteristics of a Weiss clamper bracelet. Over the years I've come across these here and there but I've never before seen one with embedded metal straps. It's an awesome detail that really makes it stand apart from the crowd. Furthermore, the sparkly white rhinestones are arranged in an arrow-like pattern which I've also never seen! The spring hinge is located on the side and operates manually. It holds tightly with no slack or drooping when closed. The oval shape is very comfortable on your wrist and it cleverly keeps the bangle from spinning around freely. This means your sparkles will always be face-up! The width of the bracelet is 13/16" or a little more than 3/4". The inside opening is 2-1/4" across from hinge to opening and 1-7/8" high. The best fit will be on a wrist that measures up to 6-3/4" around. This is a great candidate for any ladies with a frustratingly small wrist!
