Victorian Revival Solid Gold and Opal Link Bracelet
This mid-century bracelet represents a resurgence in the popularity of Victorian jewelry styles in the 1960s. It features seven 14k solid gold links each of which are studded with cannetille style details, bordered with a tiny twisted rope and set with a fiery opal cabochon. The lower surface of the bracelet links has a rich patina that creates a striking contrast against the brightness of the polished surfaces and causes the colors in the opals to stand out dramatically. The primary color is a bright teal or blue with strong green undertones. At different angles and various lighting you can also see flashes of yellow, purple and some pink. The clasp is sturdy, holds well and repeats the cannetille design. There is also a safety chain in place for added security. Each link measures 5/8” long and 1/2” wide. The full length of the bracelet is 7-1/4”. Should you need any adjustments to length (longer or shorter) just let me know and I’ll be glad to help.
