Unbelievable 1960s Filigree Bib Statement Necklace
What a statement piece! Likely made in the late 1950s or early 1960s this unsigned bib necklace was possibly designed by the popular Goldette company. Each of the 37 rhinestone studded filigree panels are linked to form a fabulous articulated collar shape with a petite border of rhinestone fringe. The back has a chain and hook style closure which allows you to adjust the length to suit you. Meant to ride high along your collarbone, the length ranges from 15” to 19”. The drop from the top tier of panels to the point of the lowest tier is approximately 3”. A dramatic piece indeed!
