Mid-century Handmade Sterling Silver and Citrine Signed Pendant or Brooch
This handmade sterling pendant likely dates to around 1970. It features a rather large rectangular citrine which is prong set and nestled into what resembles silver twigs or branches. It's a very eye-catching organic design and has quite a presence! It has a hidden half bale on the back as well as a pin so you are able to wear it as a pendant or a brooch. There are hallmarks on the bale however they are somewhat illegible. One looks like an "A" over a "6" and the other is very blurred. The metal does test as sterling and the stone has been confirmed as a citrine. With the irregular proportions I will give a general measurement of approximately 2-1/4" wide by 2" high. The citrine measures approximately 18x13mm. The pin mechanism measures 1-3/4" from hinge to clasp.
The chain is not included but let me know if you need one and we can discuss options!
