Vintage Linde Star Sapphire Halo Diamond Ring
Here's a beautiful example of a classic ring! Made plentiful by mid-century popularity synthetic star sapphires are still quite desirable! This happens to be a very nice one featuring a strong star with sharp rays that will shift according to the light source...the desired feature of a star sapphire! Further enhancing the stone is the gorgeous diamond halo. There are 14 single cut, extremely brilliant diamonds. The setting is 14k white gold, hallmarked and tested. Currently the shank measures a rather small 3-1/2 but is easily sizable upon request. Another feature worth noting is the unique quality of the prongs holding the sapphire. Rather than being set plainly in a bezel, the jeweler took the time to make these petal-like prongs...a nice little detail!
