Early Victorian Rose Cut Diamond 3-Stone Ring
Wow!!! Really and truly these are the prettiest rose cut diamonds I’ve seen in a very long time! They are large and clear with big, crisp facets on top and smooth flat bottoms. They are set open-back in silver bezels that nestle closely together forming a bridge shape when viewed from the side. With exception of the bezels the entire ring is solid 14k rose gold. The overall design is wonderfully naive with very simple details...exactly what you want in a ring from this early era! The center diamond is round and measures approximately 7mm across. The two side diamonds are pear shaped and measure approximately 7mm long by 5.5mm wide. The highest point of the center diamond sits 7mm above your finger. The rounded shank measures 3mm wide all the way around and currently the ring is a size 8. The base of the shank has a few minor dents and dings which I view as evidence that it was much loved for a very long time. And hopefully it will find a new home with someone that will continue to love it just as much! Please don’t hesitate to inquire about sizing options if needed.
