Art Deco Pink Crystal Negligeé Necklace
This negligeé style necklace is from the Art Deco period and was likely made right around 1930. It features two crystal drops in the most wonderful shade of pink and cut into fascinating little geometric cubes. The color is so candy-like, bright and cheerful! The crystals hang side by side at two different lengths which is the classifying characteristic of a "negligeé" necklace. The chain is a delicate "peanut" link in a soft gunmetal gray. Completing the design of the necklace are two stations of pale pink and clear crystal beads and two more bright pink crystals, one at each end of the chain. The clasp is a simple spring ring which opens and closes properly. The necklace sits around your neck at 17" with the two dangles hanging 1-1/2" and 2-1/2" down from the center. If you feel you need extra length added to the chain just let me know. I'd be happy to provide an adjustment at no extra charge. This is a beautiful and wearable piece of authentic flapper jewelry!
