Classic beauty! Circa 1930 Rose Gold with Sapphire Cabochon and Diamond Halo Ring
So many words come to mind when describing this 1930s ring...elegant, classic, regal, beautiful and brilliant!! It's all of these and more! The bezel-set sapphire cabochon weighs approximately .50ct and is surrounded by a dazzling halo of 12 full cut diamonds. They are high quality, well matched stones and are bead-set in 14k white gold. The remainder of the ring is 14k rose gold. The design of the mounting is a Victorian Revival style. From the top looking down, there is a scallop-like outline that carries a resemblance to a Victorian buttercup setting. And the way the light reflects on the inside of these scalloped edges is a wonderful enhancement to the overall ring but especially to the diamond halo. The underside of the mounting has the most unique pierced design which makes the ring just that much more special! It's an extremely elegant style that is always in fashion and would therefore make a stunning alternative engagement ring! Currently it measures an 8-1/4 on the mandrel but can be sized up or down upon request.
