This pair of Navajo sterling silver earrings have remarkable detail and beautifully balanced proportions. The top piece is a deep purple sugilite cabochon set into a scallop edged bezel. Hidden behind is a loop that allows the concho style pendant to swing slightly. The silver has a polished surface with the perfect amount patina to highlight the hand tooled designs. The earrings measure 2-1/8” from top to bottom. The pendant portion alone measures 1-3/4” long by 1-1/2” at the widest point. They have a quality weight yet are not what I would consider heavy. Each earring weighs approximately 8.5 grams.
