Mid Century Sculpture Ring 14k with Lapis and Diamonds, 1960s
This mid century ring is not just a ring, it’s a sculpture! Made in the 1960s using solid 14k gold, custom cut lapis and tapered baguette diamonds it’s an eye-catching conversation piece to say the least. So fashionable to wear all alone, letting it speak for itself. But I also see it thrown effortlessly into the mix on the hand of an eclectic, artsy woman with stacks and layers of unique jewels. However you wear it, you’re sure to be noticed! Across the fanned out protrusions the width north to south is 11.5mm and east to west at the highest point measures 22mm. The shank is very comfortable and measures 6.5mm at the base which helps stabilize the ring. The highest point above your finger is a dramatic 16mm. All sides, surfaces and stones were made smooth (intentionally I image) so that nothing snags or scratches. Considering it’s extreme design it’s a surprisingly comfortable piece of jewelry! Currently a size 6 and sizable upon request.
