Art Deco Style Sterling and Marcasite Buckle Bracelet,
This stylish buckle bracelet combines sterling silver, sparkling marcasite and lucite in an extreme Art Deco design. It was made by the Judith Jack company in the 1980s when in fact Art Deco designs in every category were experiencing a strong revival. Marcasite soon became remarkably popular in jewelry and Judith Jack set the bar for style and quality. And this bracelet in particular is no exception! The sterling buckle is simply stunning and the overall look is rather timeless. The bracelet portion is made of strong yet surprisingly flexible lucite which glides freely beneath the decorative buckle much like an actual belt. This allows the bracelet to be “self adjusting”, meaning once it’s on your wrist it hugs you snugly no matter what. The circumference will adjust comfortably between 6” and 7”. The lucite band is 5/8” wide and the buckle detail measures approximately 1-1/4” wide at the widest point and 1-1/2” long from the outer edge to the outside of the strap detail. This bracelet makes an elegant statement all on its own but would look incredibly chic all layered up with your other favorites. A great piece to have in your jewelry repertoire!
