Authentic Miriam Haskell Star Shaped Button Earrings
These pretty little earrings are from the 1950s and were made by the renowned Miriam Haskell company. They are in the popular "button" style and are a bit like sparkly little hors d’oeuvres! All sandwiched together, they are composed of brass filigree medallions, gold rimmed white glass discs, prong set round and baguette cut rhinestones in a star shape and they are finally topped off with a small white glass bead. The backs are fitted with clip-on mechanisms which function perfectly, holding comfortably when on your ear. Overall the earrings are in very good condition! The delicate wiring is in tact, holding all the elements together securely. They are approximately 5/8" around and have a depth of about 1/2". These are a great, wearable pair of earrings and would make a nice addition to any Haskell collection. And actually, wouldn't they be pretty for a wedding?
