Exceptional 18k Fleur de Lis Crimson Enamel Ring
This ring takes the meaning of fine jewelry to a whole new level! Everything about it is as fine as fine gets. First of all, the crimson red enamel is silky-smooth and utterly flawless. The surface is glossy and meets the "pie crust" edge seamlessly. The ring itself is all 18k gold and is hallmarked as such (750) on the outside at the base of the shank. The Fleur de Lis is a separate hand carved element which is held in place atop the enamel by way of two pins that penetrate the top. When viewed from the back you can see the ends of the pins folded over, holding the Fleur de Lis securely. The gallery of the ring is decorated with a garland of eight leafy sprigs, each a cluster of three minutely carved fronds. The texture is tiny and precise! Each shoulder has a singular, gently curved leaf, again with the tiny and precise hand carved texture. Tucked discreetly below each of these single leaves is a simple little flared bridge which has an extremely fine Florentine finish. From every angle this ring is divine...the side view being just as impressive as the top! From north to south the top measures 19mm. East to west the measurement is 13mm. The depth, measuring from your finger to the uppermost surface of the Fleur de Lis, is approximately 5mm. The current size is a 6 yet it can be sized up or down upon request.
