Art Deco Onyx and Diamond Pendant Necklace, Circa 1930
This pendant is the epitome of Art Deco design! It combines 14k white gold, hand carved platinum, transitional cut diamonds and elegant black onyx. The clean, geometric shape is so 1930s yet surprisingly modern! The largest bezel set diamond is approximately .12ct and is estimated to be G to H in color and VS2 in clarity. There are 13 smaller accent diamonds throughout, some transitional cut and some rose cut. The majority of the pendant is 14k white gold with the diamonds being set in hand carved platinum mountings. The pendant measures 1-3/4” long from the top of the decorative bale to the bottom and 7/8” at the widest point. It hangs from a contemporary 14k white gold chain that measures 18” long. This piece is extremely chic and very versatile making it easy to wear on a daily basis. Yet the truth is it’s also special enough to reserve just for special occasions!
