Large 1930s Czechoslovakian Glass Egyptian Revival Fringe Necklace
Stunning 30s Czechoslovakian glass beaded necklace with Egyptian Revival details, graduated fringe and rare cube-shaped beads. The central medallion measures 1-3/4” across with fabulous filigree designs embellished with four green glass cabochons around the border and a larger one set in the middle with a slinky snake encircling it. Unsigned as they typically were, this necklace could possibly be attributed to the famed Neiger brothers. And nonetheless it’s an exceptional example of 1930s Egyptian Revival. The necklace length to the horizontal filigree element above the pendant is 22”. The drop length from the top of the horizontal element to the bottom of the fringe is 5-1/2”. If any adjustment to length is required or preferred just let me know.
