Insanely Amazing Sterling Brutalist Organic Cuff Bracelet
This bracelet is an amazing work of art! No question. Designed and made in the 1970s "Brutalistic" or "Brutalist" style it exhibits undulating vines of sterling silver that seem to be both growing and decomposing. The curved shape of the cuff fits flush and comfortable against your arm and has this visual effect of seeming like its part of you. It's a smart and beautiful design with perfectly placed Biwa pearls and black opals. The central pearl is a fascinating specimen with a lovely grayish hue and silky surface. The black pearls have a gorgeous color that compliments the pearls very nicely. The largest opal does have a fracture but it remains secure in the bezel. It does not detract from the overall appearance of the bracelet and at a glance it is not noticeable but I did take it into consideration when pricing.
The length of the curve is approximately 6" with additional length available at the ends where there are 2 sections of chain measuring 1-1/2" (clasp side) and 3/4".
Unsigned, but clearly made by a skilled and creative artist. This bracelet is absolutely magnificent! Most definitely the only one of its kind!
