Gorgeous Two-Tone 14k Filigree Diamond Engagement Ring
This 1930s engagement ring is so delightful! It has wonderful, pleasing proportions and just the right amount of detail! The 14k white gold filigree is enhanced with a 14k yellow gold shank that rises up at the shoulder to split in two to follow the flared design that surrounds the central element. At the center is a +/-.16ct transitional cut diamond (G-H; VS) which is bead-set into a square mounting with a delicate, double milgrain edge. Flanking the diamond are two identical triangular panels with a lovely carved leaf detail. The profile of the ring is simply gorgeous! Both the north and south sides have an elegant pierced flower garland that serves a decorative as well as functional purpose. The openness allows an extra amount of light in beneath the stone providing optimal brilliance. Measuring north to south at the flared portion, the ring is approximately 9.5mm. The design sweeps inward dramatically as it forms the simple shank which itself tapers from 1.5mm to .5mm at the base. This is a lovely ring with stunning details...an excellent choice for a stylish and unique vintage engagement ring that won't break the bank! And because there is both white and yellow gold in the design, your choices for a wedding band are broadened. Currently a size 6-1/4 and sizable upon request.
