1920s Platinum Engagement Ring, .60ct Old European Cut Diamond
This 1920s hand carved platinum engagement ring is one that will have you feeling that the longer you look at it, the more you hold and admire it, the more you fall in love with it. The intricate details throughout are subtle on their own but combine to create a uniquely beautiful heirloom. A truly timeless antique with a surprisingly modern sensibility. Every contemporary “antique style” ring wishes it could be this good! The center diamond is a gorgeously faceted Old European cut diamond (G-H; SI1) with sensational brilliance. In dim or bright lighting, indoor or out, it sparkles like it’s on fire. The entire mounting around it is studded with 18 more twinkling Old European and Old Mine cut diamonds (+/- .36cttw) to create an all-over glittery effect. The north and south sides of the ring feature lovely, symmetrical opposing scrolls which pierce the platinum to allow light to penetrate beneath the diamonds, further enhancing their brilliance. The shank is carved in a typical Art Deco era trailing vine motif. The table of the diamond sits 7mm above your finger and the ring currently measures as a size 6-1/4 on the mandrel. Sizing up or down is available upon request.
Included in the price is a recent insurance appraisal report which estimates the replacement value to be $4100.
