1920s Vintage Deco Diamond Engagement Ring, Geometric Design
This 1920s diamond engagement ring is a truly wonderful example of Art Deco design. Simple, no frills, no fuss, with clean geometric lines. The transitional cut diamond is approximately .45ct and is estimated to be G to H in color and VS1 in clarity. Set low in its palladium mounting the diamond is framed by four baguette cut synthetic sapphires and four full cut diamonds. The shoulders slope gently, taper slightly and are beautifully etched with a simple vine-like decoration. The measurement of the ring north to south and east to west is approximately 10.2mm. The shank measures 2mm at the shoulders and tapers to 1.5mm at the base. The table of the diamond sits approximately 4mm above your finger. Currently the ring measures as a 5.5 on the mandrel and is sizable up or down upon request.
