1920s Art Deco 1.02 ct Solitaire Engagement Ring
Meticulously hand carved in the 1920s this Art Deco era platinum engagement ring is an impressive little work of art. The decorative acanthus leaves and pierced vertical lines combine in what is one of the prettiest solitaire mountings I’ve seen, exquisite from absolutely every angle. The carved tapered shoulders sweep upwards completing a beautifully balanced design that gives the 1.02 carat diamond just the right amount of structure. The stone itself is also incredible and brilliant beyond belief! It is a Transitional cut diamond that is estimated as G color and SI1 clarity. The simple 8-bead setting makes the most of the stone’s size letting it twinkle brightly from edge to edge with no heavy bezel or distracting prongs. The head of the ring measures approximately 8mm and the table of the diamond sits approximately 6.5mm above your finger, a proud yet comfortable height. This is, without question, a stunning heirloom quality piece of jewelry. A timeless design with a classic since of style. It is currently a size 6 and sizable upon request. Layaway is available so don’t hesitate to inquire.
