1930s Deco Diamond Engagement Ring with Streamlined Shoulders
This 1930s engagement ring is a dream!! It features a near colorless and ultra clean diamond (estimated G-H, VVS, +/-.20ct) set into a streamlined Art Deco two-tone gold mounting. The center diamond is bead set with steep, flared triangular 14k white gold corners which cleverly enhance the stone's brilliance. The shoulders, also white gold, exhibit a fantastic tapered "stair step" deco design and are set with 7 single cut diamonds on each side. The shoulder design gradually narrows to meet a 14k yellow gold shank which starts as 4mm wide and tapers to 1.5mm at the base. Measuring north to south across the center diamond mounting is 5.5mm. Measuring the height of the same portion of the ring as it sits above the finger is approximately 4mm. Currently the ring is a size 5-1/2 and is sizable up or down upon request.
